The interview was very technical and consisted of going before very skilled engineers and answering their technical questions. Anything, and I mean anything on the resume was fair game for very detailed questions. If you put "TCP/IP" on the resume, be prepared to answer every and all questions about the layers, packet construction, sequences, handshakes, traceroute/TTL process, etc.

Stressful work environment, terrible WLB

Pros: - Decent pay - Nice office - Talented engineers

Cons: Much lower compensation than levels.fyi and the RSUs drop at least 50-80% due to stock drop. Sink or swim, which is an incredibly stressful work environment. Management is toxic. Push towards AI in everything to a point of diminishing quality while having unreasonable expectations of productivity.

Cons: Much lower compensation than levels.fyi and the RSUs drop at least 50-80% due to stock drop. Sink or swim, which is an incredibly stressful work environment. Management is toxic. Push towards AI in everything to a point of diminishing quality while having unreasonable expectations of productivity.

After acquisition and with the new LT, it now has a toxic culture and does not care about employees

Pros: StubHub had a good culture and good work-life balance 2 years back, but not anymore after being acquired by Viagogo. Currently none. If you are just starting your career and would like to learn how to ship code to production quickly, then this is the place for you for the 1-2 years in your career.

Cons: - No craftsmanship - They follow practices that are exactly opposite of what is being followed in the industry - The best way to describe the culture: "I say you do" - Outdated codebase - Management and managers who do not know how to run an ORG or a team - Very secretive and do not trust employees
