Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California
Process
I applied through the website and received an email response within a week, despite it being the December holiday season. I also had a brief chat about my interests and desired pace for proceeding.
I had two phone screens, both including questions on programming, algorithms, and my job experience. Following that, I received a take-home assignment which I had one day to complete and send back. The phone interviews went smoothly; the developers communicated well and provided hints when I was stuck.
Within a week, I received an email response stating I had cleared the screens and was invited for an onsite interview.
The onsite interview included five interviews, each with two developers, and a final interview with their VP of Engineering.

This is especially true for employees with longer tenures, as compensation plummets once the initial stock grant has vested, so most competent folks leave at that point. - Hypocrisy from upper management, who seem to believe that company values are only for rank-and-file employees.
