I was interviewed in the Bangalore Manyata Tech Park office. I received the interview call through a consultancy. HR Madhu was late and later arranged for the interview after one hour.
The first round of the interview was conducted by two engineers and consisted of questions on Hive, HDFS, and Sqoop. The second round was on Java. The third round was conducted by the hiring manager.
The manager asked me about my notice period, which is 60 days. He then returned in five minutes and asked me to leave for the day.
I thought the interviewers were happy, but they still turned down the candidate. I would advise them not to conduct interviews if they don't have a requirement. The whole process looked like a time pass for HR and a few managers – to keep their jobs, they keep conducting interviews.
