- System Design - Expected lots of details and wanted to get into the nitty-gritties of designing a system.
- Deep Dive into different technologies, especially Kafka internals and databases. Covered scalability, testing, and distributed systems concepts.
- Coding Round - Easy level, with two problems to code. This was followed by a discussion around the data engineering landscape at Target.
- Hiring Manager Round - Focused on culture fit.
Target came across as a very friendly organization, and the process was very seamless.
