Process

After posting my resume online, I was contacted via email about 3-4 days later.

The recruiter wanted to speak with me on the phone and was very flexible with my work hours. We spoke for about 10 minutes.

I was asked to go for an interview about two weeks later. This all came on a Friday, right before I was scheduled to go on a week's vacation.

The recruiter was very understanding about me taking a few extra days to complete my online application. While I was on vacation, I received a voicemail from Target asking if I could interview early, but unfortunately, I was still on vacation.

So, I kept my original appointment and had three back-to-back interviews in the same day, which lasted a total of about 90 minutes.

  • The first was with a store lead.
  • The second was with the recruiter and another employee.
  • The third was with two of their district managers.

Each interview consisted of situational questions in which I was asked to describe scenarios I had actual experience with.

After the third interview, the district managers advised me I would get a call within 7-10 days (usually sooner than that). If they decided to move forward, I would get a call from HR for a final phone interview.

It has only been 3 days, so I am still waiting for the news (hopefully good)!
