I received a call from a recruiter who wanted to interview me for a Senior Engineer role. I accepted, and they scheduled an interview. The recruiter mentioned it would be a coding round, so I prepared accordingly. Unfortunately, the interview was entirely theoretical, with no coding involved. It consisted of technical questions focused on microservice architecture and databases.
