A case study was provided with two questions:
You would be given one hour and assistance connecting to Wi-Fi.
However, one of my worst interview experiences was this.
I completed the case study before the hour was up, and the first round of the interview began. The interviewer asked about everything from Java to Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, and Java 8. I answered all questions, though two were answered partially.
The interviewer was nice and friendly. After the interview, he asked me to wait, stating HR would call for the next round. Then, HR came and told me to leave for the day.
I had answered everything, and the interviewer even said there would be a second round! But then HR told me I hadn't cleared the round. What is wrong with these people?
I had read other interview comments about this. Many reviews said the same thing, yet I still went and wasted my time.
One question was to write a REST API to validate a comment, checking if it contains objectionable words. Another was regarding finding the shortest path.
