Total 5 Rounds of Interview:
After completing the 5 rounds of interviews in December, the HR kept saying that you "have to go through positive feedback." However, they also mentioned that they were interviewing other candidates and that you would have to wait a couple of weeks for the final result.
I waited for more than 2 months for the result, but HR kept repeating the same story: that the process was not yet complete and that the Interview Panel would make the decision once it was done.
Finally, after following up for 2 months, HR told me that it was now an internal promotion process and that many people internally were interested in this position, so they were looking only from within and there was no traction to take from outside.
I don't understand one thing: if you have a plan to promote someone internally, then what is the point of keeping 5+ long hours of interviews and then making us wait for a long time to know the outcome? Can you make a decision at the earliest?
