They came to campus for the career fair, and the following day they held interviews.
No technical questions were asked; all were behavioral. It was super easy. I think they were looking to fit culture more than technical skills.
Overall, the internship ended up being very IT-like and not great for a software engineer.

Pros: Target as a company is employee-oriented and caring. If you are in a non-IT environment, you would like it here.
Cons: If you are going to be in a team that works with the team in India, your life would be in hell. Nightly calls, lost communication, a gazillion emails to solve a simple problem, lack of context, and unqualified individuals who got promoted to managers by means of favoritism. If you want a government-type job that is relaxing without much accountability and quality, a Target IT job may be for you.
