Some of the brightest coworkers I've ever had.
Interesting product and problems to work on.
Great tech stack at the time: Haskell, Rust, and Nix.
Limited engagement across teams. A large enterprise environment could sometimes make HR tasks difficult. Interfacing with lots of legacy systems. Politics across different divisions can strongly impact what the team gets to work on.
Keep seeking great engineers. Try to make more space for independent teams to own their technology choices.
The initial tech screen consists of questions only. Be sure to know your Java, and understand back-end development concepts. Familiarize yourself with Spring Boot and annotations. They are a Java shop, and these topics will be covered.
The interview process was longer than expected. They actually ghosted me for a few weeks and conducted three technical screening interviews. I feel that management was not prepared for scheduling interviews.
Phone screening interview. I was rejected after that. There were just a couple of questions, and I was told my application would be submitted to a review team. I received a rejection later on.
