Process

First, I had an HR phone call, then a Zoom call with the lead engineer.

The HR call was general experience on a superficial level. They asked why I wanted to work at Tesla.

The follow-up interview was with the lead automation engineer for that team. He asked me to go over my experiences.

The most technical question I received was, "What is the difference between a servo motor and a DC motor?"

Pros: The company is innovative and has plenty of resources available for growth. I only had a few weeks to get involved, and not enough time to really comment here.

Cons: No management of contract staff. Most staff seem to be under a lot of pressure to get things done with not much time to interact with new team members. In other words, my supervisor did not take time to introduce me to Tesla's methods of starting a project.

Pros: The company is innovative and has plenty of resources available for growth. I only had a few weeks to get involved, and not enough time to really comment here.

Cons: No management of contract staff. Most staff seem to be under a lot of pressure to get things done with not much time to interact with new team members. In other words, my supervisor did not take time to introduce me to Tesla's methods of starting a project.

Pros: 1. Very active people so you don't have to run behind them. All of them are really smart, so you will get your work done. 2. Best place to start. You will get a brand associated with your resume.
