Backend Developer Interview Experience

Process

I was reached out to by an HR recruiter on LinkedIn. We spoke over the phone so they could gather information about my experience and what I'm looking for in my next role. They then scheduled a call with the technical recruiter for a few days later.

This technical recruiter call was awful. It was a video call with the technical recruiter, who was also the engineering manager for the team they were hiring for. He asked me about my background, and within a few minutes, I noticed he was distracted and uninterested in talking or asking further questions. I felt that elaborating on my resume, which they already had, might have been what upset him.

It was very unprofessional of him to not be attentive during a video call. It was the worst experience, and I would never consider interviewing with the company again.
