Process
My interview process included:
- A 30-minute interview with the manager
- Two technical questions
- A "Why Tesla?" question
Naturally, I had to know the ins and outs of my own projects. The interviewer threw me a curveball about one of my projects that I had no idea how to answer. However, the interviewer seemed to appreciate that I took my time approaching the problem methodically (about 1-2 minutes of thinking).
The interviewer told me to expect a second-round panel interview, which never occurred.
- Application-to-interview timeframe: 2-3 weeks
- Interview-to-offer timeframe: 1 week
Pre-interview, I had to fill out a questionnaire. Pre-offer, I have to fill out another questionnaire detailing my study and work experience.
