Process

I applied through a recruiter.

No recruiter screening interview, as he directly scheduled the technical screen. Very professional and prompt.

Two separate 30-minute technical screens with one engineer:

  • PLC specific questions (ex: difference between FC and FB)
  • Asked to write logic for start/stop of an equipment with a buzzer using two momentary push buttons

Almost within a day or two, the recruiter responded for the next step: a 1.5-hour final panel interview, consisting of 30-minute back-to-back sessions with each individual.

  • Asked to write logic for start/stop of an equipment with ONE momentary push button
  • Grilled the resume, focusing on any errors and specific experience relevant to the applications in the plant they are hiring for
