Pros: - Salary is above market average just so they can lure you in and away from your current employment.
- Good opportunity to learn that within a toxic organization like Tesla, your job security depends on your network and how many layers of protection you build around yourself, not just your hard work and dedication.
Cons: - They claim Tesla is all about engineering; it's not. Everything is political.
- They will look you in the eye and lie to you that they want to move you up, but will let you go with no hesitation or resistance the minute they are told by their supervisor to do a layoff.
- You are just a number, especially to your immediate manager. They are the ones who will lie to you the most.
