I applied through Indeed and got an email for technical interviews with two different teams at Tesla.
First Team (video interview): After some introductions and a few resume-based questions, I had to give a coding test where they asked me three coding questions. After solving them all, they asked me about the tools and technologies I have used in my past experience.
After that, they wanted me to write a SQL statement for a given scenario. You wouldn't believe it, but while I was working on it, one of the guys (who I assume was a senior) started asking for a status update on some stuff they had been working on. This was so annoying, given I was trying so hard to focus on the problems. I eventually gave them a solution for the SQL query as well.
The interview was scheduled for 1 hour but went for 1.5 hours, during which one of the guys started to drive to work.
This is not all. After a week from the interview, I received an email from HR regarding my availability. After which, I never heard back.
Given that I was receiving myriad emails before the interview, I never received an email about my application status, or if my application was affected because I do not meet the availability.
This was the worst interview experience, and even if I had gotten the offer, I would have never wanted to work with a team who not only is condescending in the way they talk but also does not value someone else's time and career.
