Cons: Workload can be high at times. Projects may get deprioritized & cancelled on short notice. Fear of layoffs. Public image & media coverage of the company/leadership can affect morale.

Pros: Opportunities to travel. Work with young, enthusiastic people (average employee age <30). Opportunities to drive unreleased prototype vehicles.

Cons: Many higher-level employees and managers are arrogant and don't treat lower-level employees with respect. There is no consistent direction on priorities, and different priorities between teams result in infighting over support and resources. A high turnover rate means projects are constantly changing hands, and the same mistakes are repeated over and over again. Employees are expected to work an insane number of hours to meet aggressive timelines, only to have the program's direction change at the last minute and all the work be thrown out. There is no transparency regarding layoffs or the future objectives of the company. Leadership does not operate with honesty or integrity.

Pros: No duds: basically everyone you work with is very smart and cares about the big picture.

Cons: Some departments are more subject to the whims of bossman and/or production schedules. Choose wisely.
