I had an interview for the position of ADAS/Autopilot Test Engineer for Tesla Japan (Tokyo).
Firstly, the recruiter was late and unshaven, which I found unprofessional. It was stated in the email that the entire interview would be conducted in Japanese/English, but the entire interview was done in Japanese. While this was fine with me, it was misleading. The recruiter also used English nouns, which I found strange for someone who speaks fluent Japanese.
The recruiter also told me that it would take an estimated one week to inform me of the results, due to the time delay for the head office in Tesla USA to process my application. I received a rejection letter after one day.
I thought I had a good match with my experience and skills for this position, but I was surprisingly rejected quickly. This makes me wonder if he really "taken careful consideration."
Numerous lies were told by this recruiter. He did not smile once, nor did he seem welcoming at all. I am left wondering if the recruiter is truly fit for his job.
