Great mission. Good benefits. Elon Musk company. Fast-paced and fast-moving.
So many strategic changes made it really challenging to execute the plans. Lots of uncertainty with employees due to layoffs and so many changes. Morale has been pretty low, and there seems to be a better way to roll out some of the changes. It felt that over time, the company didn't care about the employees at all.
Consider how you roll out the changes and consider the employees a bit more. Changes for the sake of the business are understood, but the way they are rolled out could be a bit smoother.

Aerodynamics Engineer
Applied via referral. Recruiter emailed 3 days later, followed by a screening. Then, a manager interview and a panel interview. The manager interview was simple and focused on basics. Panel expectations were reasonable. I don't know what went wrong.

The interview process was with people on the team. The interview was overall quite difficult. There was an HR representative and engineers at the panel. I would recommend practicing LeetCode before the interview.
