I interviewed with Tesla for a summer engineering intern position after a career fair at my university. They asked many specific technical questions that were hard to answer, given only a few hours' notice of the interview.

Horrible experience with the interview process. It took them six months to move me through the three-interview process; two of those interviews were with their junior staff. After six months, they did not even care to update me, nor did the recruiter

The interview process was very long and tedious. Their policies for being late, even by one minute, were not nice. I don't recommend anyone works here. There could be some changes, such as better pay and more collaborative efforts on the team.
