Tesla actually gives their interns responsibilities
- Allowed to ask anyone for help, regardless of their position, so long as it is necessary.
- Considerable ownership for interns relative to other companies.
- Better pay than most companies, especially with OT.
- The culture is awesome; everyone is bought in to growing the company, still has a start-up feel despite being one of the largest companies in the world.
- Some very long days (and nights, weekends, and holidays), but it was pretty fun.
- Surprisingly, a lot of engineers were not that great here.
- Sense of stress and unease from employees most days.
- Not many great benefits and no real discounts on Teslas, even for full-time employees.
