A lot of hands-on tasks and a lot of great experience.
Sometimes long working hours, but it's all worth it as one gets to learn a lot, especially early on in their career.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. 3 rounds in total: * 2 Tech Rounds with coding with SQL (multi-join) and Python (LeetCode), and resume deep dive and "Why Tesla?" / "Why Data Engineer?" * Last round in person onsite (didn't make it)
The process consisted of: - A 30-minute HR call (discussing my skills, background, and interest in Tesla. No technical cross-questioning occurred in this round). - A 1-hour Resume + Coding round (discussed resume for 20 minutes; 30 minutes of LeetC
The atmosphere was very chill and lax in the beginning. The recruiter eased me into the interview. The technical questions were somewhat challenging towards the end. They expect you to know quite a bit about PV systems.
