They're great. They give me lots of money. I love them.
They do a little ritual. They kind of like pluck their ball hairs one by one in a big group in some weird room underneath the building, like it's a level below the basement, and the elevator doesn't have a button for it.
Nothing you're doing is so great.
Pretty standard. Mostly past work history checks. Some technical questions on the system engineering and programming skill set side, but nothing difficult. I thought it went smooth and well, but there was no follow-up.
Applied via referral. Recruiter emailed 3 days later, followed by a screening. Then, a manager interview and a panel interview. The manager interview was simple and focused on basics. Panel expectations were reasonable. I don't know what went wrong.
Stressful but interesting. The interviewers want to know who you are first. Then they want to assess your skills. Overall, it was a good experience. Keep an open mind. Don't psych yourself out. Do your best.
