Experience is heavily dependent on your team and manager. Expect to work 35-50 hours per week, even as an intern.
I was first asked questions related to Tesla, like why Tesla, and then it gradually proceeded to technical questions such as DOF, stress, strain, cantilever beams, and material selection, like when would you use steel rather than aluminum.
Overall, the questions were extremely basic, which was a bit off-putting, but make sure you're prepared regardless. Although the questions are basic, you should probably have non-basic answers ready to reply.
I had three interviews, and only one of the three was professional. The others seemed to be in a rush, were late, and didn’t communicate well. It took the recruiter six weeks to get back to me after the last one.
