Great benefits, free transportation, paid time off.
Long work hours and lack of communication from upper management.
The immense amount of favoritism is insane.
A lot of people move up in this company through sleeping with their bosses, apparently.
It is a very toxic work environment, although there are good people working here as well.
The training is not good, and they expect you to know what you’re doing within the first day.
As a quality inspector, we inspect parts. Usually, if we haven’t been on a certain area in the production line, they have somebody with you who has.
Other times, they have just expected you to know what you’re doing right off the bat.
This is very anxiety-provoking and will cause problems further down the production line.
They switch people around constantly in the production line, which means no one actually has time to get good at what they are doing, let alone care.
Have more clear communication. For example, if we are required to stay later, let employees know and don’t wait 10 minutes before we’re supposed to get out. Also, on-the-job training is not great. You have people who don’t know what they are doing training new people who also don’t know what they are doing.
The group interview was with a smaller group and felt easy, with typical questions. It was not a very long interview and was relaxed, depending on the interviewer since there were multiple groups going on. Again, it was an easy interview.
The hiring manager went through my job history and resume; it was a very typical interview. There were no special or trick questions. I'm not sure the hiring manager had the right experience to hire for the role.
I had a phone screening with the recruiter. She was very friendly but hadn't had much information about the position. Anyway, she forwarded my CV to the hiring manager and I had to answer a questionnaire. Then I received an automated rejection email
