I learned a lot as an intern.
The people here are very smart and friendly. It's a close-knit community.
The clout of working here was good too. Interns actually get real work and work alongside the team they're in, which was somewhat new to me. In previous internships, I just had my own "intern project," which was easy to get distracted in.
I did not get a return offer because of intern layoffs.
Elon Musk is toxic and misogynistic. The funny thing is that my coworkers at Tesla also didn't even like him, or at most, thought he was a smart/cunning businessman, which is somewhat admirable to them.
Tesla employees are the most passionate workers I've ever seen, and they should be rewarded for it.
Rewards for employees are not seen enough, and almost all other companies in the Bay Area have 10x better perks for employees.
The interview process was very long and tedious. Their policies for being late, even by one minute, were not nice. I don't recommend anyone works here. There could be some changes, such as better pay and more collaborative efforts on the team.
1. Received a call from my Tesla recruiter regarding the position. It was a 15-20 minute call where I was asked about previous positions and job tasks. It was positive for the most part, and then I was told I would be reached out to for a second inte
The interview was not too difficult, with LeetCode medium-level questions being asked. There were two rounds of virtual interviews. The interview was mostly frontend-focused, with questions around object or array flattening.
