Process

Probably the most unprofessional interview process I’ve ever experienced.

First interview was supposed to be through Webex with the cameras turned on. The interviewer decided to instead take the call in his car on the way home. Background noise was terrible; I could hardly hear him. Miraculously, I got emailed to continue to the second round of interviews.

Second round of interviews was also supposed to be through Webex with the cameras turned on. The interviewers did not turn on their cameras, but at least they were in a meeting room. I believed the interview went fairly well, and was told that I would probably continue onto the third round of interviews, which I was excited for.

After 3 weeks of no replies from the Hiring Manager and Interviewers from follow-up emails, I decided to call the Hiring Manager and left a voice message.

The following morning, I was told I was not selected based on past “Experience and/or Qualifications”.

Which I found ironic, due to this being something that could have been easily taken into consideration prior to even getting the first interview.

Felt incredibly disappointed.
