Pros

Salary is good because of the location in Texas, where things are cheaper relatively. You can find and interact with a variety of experts: software, algorithms, systems, digital, and analog.

Cons

Lack of technical leadership where decisions are driven by non-technical Program Managers and Sales Managers.

Program managers managing technical developers doesn't seem to be effective.

Engineering managers with good understanding are required.

Advice to Management

Program Managers do not seem to be effective, and many competitors do not have Program Managers.
