Pros

Reasonable pay, reasonably steady work. Not bad if you treat it as "just a job."

Cons

Focusing on "shareholder value" and aggressively exiting markets that aren't profitable enough can leave you wondering if your product is next. It drives the passionate away. It's hard to keep up with analog's PFO on the processor side of the business.
