Pros

Most groups I was exposed to are very well managed. TI has its market share based on good execution. They make a fair effort at being a 'best place to work,' with exercise equipment, health programs, benefits, etc. I found a very high level of integrity. Compensation is good and carefully done.

Cons

Stock has gone nowhere, and it is hard for TI to grow. They are not great at innovating, although there is more attention being given to this now. They used to have a central research lab like a lot of other big companies, but this was closed in the late 90s.

Advice to Management

Invest in innovation, including higher-level software modules for ARM/DSP/SOC.
