Plenty of opportunities to grow, regardless of your job function. You need to be self-motivated and seek learning opportunities. TI is a big company, so there are many jobs available if you want a change.
Some organizations in TI seem to care more about talent development than others. It is obvious that an organization that is not growing (generating lots of cash) cannot afford to train or develop an employee if he/she desires a career change.
