Pros

Open door policy, which is good for learning.

Good compensation compared to others in the area.

Lots of opportunity to learn and contribute.

Moderate to high work pressure; however, it is not hard to have a work-life balance here.

Cons

There is a lack of environment to support personnel growth, and partiality and politics are prevalent. Fair growth programs are lacking, and management participation in them is low. The company is marred by an age-old mentality, being an old company, and upper-level management is resistant to change. Divisions among various engineering roles lead to friction within the team, mostly due to a lack of respect for other roles. While it seems that being a large company offers more avenues to grow, it is hard to find and materialize a fresh chance. Operating efficiency is on the lower side.

Advice to Management

Management needs to be proactively involved in growing the talent of current employees.
