Pros

There are always projects and challenges for anyone to step up to.

Cons

The main focus of the company is to appease the shareholders. We are run by businessmen incentivized to push our stock price. There is always the chance that they will just cut your team rather than move or fix bad leadership.

Advice to Management

Focus on retaining your talent over the revenue and stock price. Squeezing margins only works for so long before it’s time to actually do something besides say the word “innovate.” Cost isn’t the only way to generate value in our growing semiconductor field. The world is ready for a very large overhaul of infrastructure and life-giving provisions that will depend on engineers built on faith and contribution, not numbers.
