Great people and some pretty cool projects. The HR department does a decent job of matching your skills to available positions, so the job was mutually beneficial.
From what I saw, promotions are hard to come by. I saw a few people who had been doing the same thing for 20+ years with very few people under them.
Also, in my BU, the people did not seem determined to move up in the company.
Was hired as an NCG. Mostly focused on my thesis and analog questions. Was contacted by a college recruiter. People are friendly and basically ask what is on your resume and about your basic understanding of analog.
They test the basics of whatever you know in digital design and analog and CMOS design. They gave design questions in Verilog and testing. A little difficult, but mostly based on the basics of the subjects you studied in your master's.
Very helpful and not looking at the syntax or the correct answer always.
