Pros

Plenty of opportunity to take on new projects. Helpful, friendly, and motivated coworkers. Top-notch facilities and equipment, with access to many software tools. Contractors are afforded solid hours at competitive rates.

Cons

The Agile development process often caused projects to overlap, resulting in work piling up. Deadlines were very strict; however, red tape occasionally prevented advancement. Internal firewalls sometimes caused issues with SVN, FTP, or other file-sharing methods (very strict firewall).

Advice to Management

In my opinion, Agile needs to be scrapped for developers. I think Scrum would work better in some of the smaller teams and would encourage better coordination of efforts.
