Pros

Fellow employees are great. They are friendly and work together. After retirement, this is my first job working for someone other than myself. The employees work well together, despite corporate failings.

Cons

Training is non-existent. The computer training is undoubtedly created by corporate legal just to ensure that they can claim that HD isn't responsible for anything wrong. Actual useful job training is non-existent. When confronted with something that you don't know how to do, you have to get someone else to show you, in front of the customer.

They refuse to have set schedules. Be prepared to work different hours on different days every week with total disregard to your personal or family life.
