Pros
  • Good work/life balance. Not living life always either working or stressing about working.

  • Decent pay. Not the best in the area, but a little above average.

  • Stock does well.

Cons

On paper, PTO is only 2 weeks for the first 5 years. But managers tend not to follow this.

Terrible holidays. Only 6 recognized holidays a year. If Christmas, New Year's, or July 4th don't line up on a Friday-Monday, most people will end up spending PTO on top of the limited holidays.

No cash bonus.

Advice to Management

Fight for better PTO and holiday policies instead of covering for the bad policies on an individual basis. This is difficult to predict, hard to evaluate against other companies, and opens up favorability issues.
