Work/life balance was fantastic with the team I was on. It is heavily encouraged throughout the company. HD is one of the companies that, for the most part, actually thrived through the pandemic. Most everyone I worked with had a great, helpful, down-to-earth vibe (manager included). The work was fun and interesting. My managers took a genuine interest in my career even though I was just a contractor. Not something you see everywhere. Really appreciated that.

Understand though that with these company reviews, I believe it really comes down to WHO you're working with more than the company per se. I've worked for a big-name company previously and had an awful experience due to who I was working with within a specific area of the company. Individual experiences don't necessarily reflect on the company as a whole, and vice versa, whether good or bad.

No glaring cons that stand out. I mean, there's always room to improve, but that's everywhere.
