Pros

My org and its leadership really support learning and encourage everyone to make sure they use their self-learning time. Collaboration is pretty good. Work-life balance is great, and I don't worry if I have to take time off for an appointment. There's a good amount of trust if I work hard and prove to be reliable. Pay is comparable.

Cons

I don't really have anything substantial. It can have its normal big company red tape, and communication or large initiatives can be slow or fail due to a lack of ownership, but that doesn't really impact my happiness. Health insurance could be better; it's pretty expensive.

Advice to Management

Have better partnerships with the business side. You usually feel like you pit devs and PMs against each other. We don't come up with direction; you do.
