Software Engineer Interview Experience - Hong Kong, China
Process
First phone round with HR, followed by a take-home assignment, followed by 4 x 1-hour interviews.
The interviews are pretty standard: coding interview, system design.
The whole process is quite long.
Bonus points for their system design question, based on a real problem faced by engineers at The Trade Desk.
I'm rating the overall experience as negative, as I still haven't received any follow-up more than a month after the interview.
Rejecting candidates is obviously fine, but not sending a rejection email after they spend 4 hours interviewing is not acceptable.
