The level of transparency at the company, in terms of how decisions are made or how well the company is doing (or not doing), is a refreshing change compared to my previous experience working at a large tech firm.
There is a culture of data-driven decision-making that permeates the entire company.
As a senior engineer, I have also noticed that people here are open to the idea of making large and radical changes, assuming you can build consensus.
Pre-COVID, TacKitchen, Thumbtack's in-house culinary operation, was amazing and made people really want to come into the office.
Colleagues and management are friendly and approachable, creating a very collaborative culture.
Please do bring back TacKitchen when we resume normal operations!
