Most engineers are great to work with: smart, humble, and committed.
Great market opportunities if done right.
In general, C-level and VP-level individuals are making reasonable decisions in terms of trajectory.
- Some wrong middle-level hires in charge of some of the product engineering teams. Thumbtack should not be a place for those people to sit back, relax, and collect two years of stock then leave. (I left because I don't believe in a team with actually no leader.)
Don't be too nice; kick out those who don't do work and value those who delivered. I want my stock to be worth some money; Thumbtack has potential.
