The HR round was good, but the next round with a backend engineer was terrible. He didn't even introduce himself at the start. He asked a few questions about my past experience, followed by a simple system design case, and then a LeetCode-style question, which I managed to finish with a working solution in time. He didn't communicate at all, barely speaking while I was explaining my thought process.

He didn't leave much time for me to ask questions. I only managed to ask two, and then he immediately said, "If no more questions, I'll hang up the call," and ended the meeting. It was so rude.

I didn't even know his name.

I asked HR and got the rejection the next day. It feels so bad because I think I did well.
