Process
The interview process had a total of 3 phases: one with HR, another with a QA, and the last one with the QA leader. In these phases, the goal was to understand a bit more about me, my previous experiences, and to analyze how I would handle certain types of conflicts and the company's agenda. In all interviews, we had some moments of conversation in English, as it is one of the expectations for the position.
They were not overly easy interviews, but I also don't consider them difficult if you are prepared for what you want for your professional career. All interviewers were super kind and made me feel comfortable before we moved on to the "dynamics" of things.
Another positive point of the entire selection process was the HR's transparency. I cleared up all my doubts, and from the beginning, I knew what the next steps would be and how to better prepare for each stage.

That has all since changed.Cons: The company has been systematically stripping our department of benefits that we have grown accustomed to over the past number of years. We no longer have the option for hybrid work. We no longer have the option for remote work from abroad. We have just been told that reasonable accommodation requests for health reasons will no longer be approved. Paternal leave has had 3 weeks cut from the allowance. There have been huge layoffs in addition to smaller layoffs, which has created an insecure environment for many people. Career progression and salary increases have come to a halt for the majority of people, regardless of their performance. Micromanagement has skyrocketed. Everything you do is monitored, and any slip-up can be used against you if they need a reason to put you on a performance improvement plan. In this country, it's hard to fire people, so TikTok's solution is to make employees who they no longer need feel as uncomfortable in their job as possible. Avoid this company at all costs. I have seen much more senior roles than mine get used and abused, and then let go as soon as they are no longer needed.
