You are given a HackerRank assessment for the entire hiring season.
You will then be emailed by a recruiter, who will set up a first-round technical interview with a TikTok engineer working on the specific team you applied for.
During this interview, they will ask a LeetCode question, which you will complete through a HackerRank link. This question will most likely be similar to those commonly seen on LeetCode tagged for TikTok.
