It was my first technical interview, and I initially expected the session to focus mainly on coding, scalability, and performance-related discussions. However, the 60-minute interview covered far more than I anticipated, including personal background, project experience, CS fundamentals, behavioural questions, and coding. The entire interview moved very quickly, and I felt that I had little time to process one section before moving on to the next. The coding portion was only around 15 minutes to understand the problem, clarify the requirements, design the solution, implement it, and test it. There was no room for discussion. The problem description itself was also not completely clear to me, and when one of my test cases failed, I had to infer an unstated requirement from the failure.
