Process

Very bad communication.

After I passed the initial round, I was moved to another interview round. When I passed the second round and moved to the "final round of interview," they did not respond for a month.

When I sent a couple of emails to check on my status, as I had other interviews to finish and schedule, I received no response. After about a month, they informed me that I passed the last round but was put on hold due to hiring and acquisition-related issues.

After about another month, I had a third interview round with a hiring manager. The manager specifically told me to stop explaining my thought process and algorithm and just write my code. I did well on the coding part but could not answer some of the questions he asked well. I received feedback that they would like to interview me one more time.

I couldn't solve the problem given. I believe it was one of the toughest problems. After such a long interview process, I received an email telling me that I was rejected without any additional feedback.

Afterwards, I received a couple of other recruiter emails from TikTok. I was then informed that they saw my previous interview history and would not move forward when I scheduled the calls.

In general, I could see that the company culture is probably really bad.

Questions

I cannot remember the exact questions, but they were similar to LeetCode questions and some distributed systems questions.
