The interview process involved:

• Two coding rounds
• One system design round
• One experience round

After these rounds, the hiring committee reviews feedback and determines your level before extending an offer. The interview process was very smooth.

Communication was blunt. While some might see this as a red flag, I view it as a green flag and a sign of a healthy organization. All my interviewers were very easy to talk to and work with, which I hadn't expected given reports of a difficult culture at TikTok.
