Process

Although the interviewers were late twice, they were polite and kind. One is located in China, and one is in the US, I guess. The HR was fine as well.

However, the waiting procedure is super long.

Hell for ICs, heaven for PMs, UI/UX, etc

Software Engineer • Former Employee

Mountain View, California, United States

Pros: 1. Brand...? Cool among young, naive people and sounds like a rocket ship. 2. Tons of freedom for interaction designers, visual effect designers, etc.

Cons: 1. Heavy communication (docs included) depends on Mandarin; this is a no-go for non-native speakers. 2. Awful work-life balance, with literally meetings at 7 AM and 10 PM with HQ in China, who don't really speak English at all (LOL). 3. Poor code quality, as bad as Microsoft or any ICC's outsourcing shit.
