Some great colleagues and friendly people.
Where to start. I’ve been working for quite some time in the company, starting as a Content Moderator. It is very hard to progress, as they prefer to hire external people instead of giving their employees a chance to progress. All for the sake of saving money and not looking for experience, which results in a big mess. Also, keep in mind that when you get approved for a higher role, your salary stays the same and might even drop since you do not work shifts. The wage is ridiculous for people living in London, as the requirement is for you to be located there so you can go to the office twice a week (also completely unnecessary, toxic, stressful) for some people.
As a Moderator, you need to be in front of the computer, watching an insane amount of videos per day and keeping up with the inhuman targets. If you feel burnout, you get told off by your manager the same second, as micromanaging rules this company. They sugarcoat everything.
Like how important it is to go to the office and interact with people, but actually, you cannot even go use the toilet without being monitored, never mind interacting with people, which, by the way, you can do outside the office space if you wanted to. Nobody has the right to say or do anything about it, even TLs, as the rules come from China. So, by their standards, you may go blind, work for 24k a year (may get to 27k if you’re lucky, no worries).
Not a great experience and no motivation to progress. If you want to do so, look for a new job and do not waste your time and wellbeing.
You need way more experience. Here’s an idea! Apply for the rotation program ;)
The recruiter initially reached out but then completely ghosted me. It's been really hard to even land an interview with them, despite being a former employee. Honestly, I'm not sure what my ex-manager might have written in the system; perhaps flagg
Questions about day-to-day activities and personal achievements. How do you handle challenging tasks? What was the best day you introduced in the company, and how did that change the company's objectives?
The first screen was a phone call where they asked introductory questions and you had to talk about your experience. The second interview was an online 1/1, more focused on the job title. I didn't pass the second round, but you should be ready to a
